If you weren’t able to join us for this week’s Resume Writing and Job Interview Skills Workshop, we wanted to share the resources with you!

• During the event, we discussed how to write a resume as well as all the items you can add to your first resume even without having any prior “job experience” – volunteering, extracurricular activities, skills, awards – just to name a few!
  

• We reviewed best practices for writing a cover letter and making it custom to each job you’re applying for
  

• Each volunteer created an About Me bio as well as listing their strengths and weaknesses
  

• As a group, we practiced interview questions (and questions to ask the interviewer!)
