EARN DOUBLE VOLUNTEER HOURS!

Last month we visited the Grace Guest House in South Buffalo for the first time and had such an amazing experience! This non-profit organization provides a safe place for families to stay while their loved ones are receiving care in area hospitals. All of the staff and volunteers were so appreciative that our teen volunteers came and cooked dinner for the guests currently staying with them. Last month we made a spaghetti dinner with salad, garlic bread, and dessert! 🍝 This month we’ll be making a full spread of Mexican food – tacos, fresh salsa, Spanish rice and dessert 🌮 If you want to put your culinary talents to good use or learn some new cooking skills, we’d love for you to join us for the events in March and April. Any ideas for future meals? Let us know!

Meet at Alexander Building

We’ll be taking the town van since it’s outside of Cheektowaga. The van will be parked in front.

We know that an event from 4:00 – 6:30 pm is not always the easiest to get to due to work schedule, sports, etc. As an added incentive to sign up, volunteers will receive DOUBLE volunteer hours when they participate in this event. Attending just one Grace Guest House event earns you FIVE fun and easy volunteer hours!
